Music Is The Universal Language

The endeavour of a musician is to create an experience of ‘space within time’ – a space into which those who choose, may open their ears, minds and hearts and thus enter and participate.

Music is the embodiment in sound of coherent relationship – of harmony and interconnectedness. It is the perfect vehicle to effect the sacred union of Spirit and Matter, which by their nature are inherently antithetical.

A prophecy of global harmony

Over two thousand years ago the Hebrew prophet Tzephaniah  said: “Then I will evolve for the nations a clear language that all may call upon the Name of the Eternal One, to serve Him with one accord.” (Tzephania 3:9)

I propose that this “clear language” to which the prophet refers is the language of music – of melody and song.

Music is certainly the universal language for all Mankind. Let us utilize its power to hasten the imminent great day when, in consummate joy, we all sing and dance together in praise of the Eternal King of the Universe in glorious global unity.
